"i'm dizzy from all this spinning"--dave matthews
hey hey
so another weekend in the Big Apple...we all slowly and groggily woke up pretty early this morning...(pretty early being like 9am) haha, to hop on the train to Queens for our field trip to the Museum of the Moving Image. Queens was where us Baylor folks felt at "home" because it was more of a ghetto place, like waco is to us..awww...home...lol. The museum was actually really cool, made me remember how much I liked sound editing. There was some interactive things that you could do, and you could actually go into a booth where you could like put your voice in some famous scenes, like Wizard of Oz, My Fair Lady, and stuff liek that. Anyways, it was funny. After that, some of us walked down Broadway and ate lunch at this little Eurocafe, I had this great salami panini and a crepe for dessert..yum! anyways, then wiggy and i went to get groceries, which was ever so fun..it's so weird here, everything is so small, and it's like people only get groceries for a week, so there aren't like gallons of milk and stuff...whatever. and i do miss having a car...we had to carry those groceries back home..but at least i'll have nice calves and a nice butt when i come home..with all this walking up and down stairs and aroudn the city and what not...
anywhoooo...came home and pretty much just lazed around for awhile, did some laundry, then some of us decided to go out to the China Club...apparently it was free cover for ladies and open bar from 10-11, so we got there, and got in around 1020, and it was basically just one free drink..neat...anyways, we did some dancing..it was very ethnic, and i don't mean that in an ugly way..there was just a lot of indian people. anywhooo...lots of dancing, that was fun! then we came home...and now we're watcing "hero"..i think..anyways, it was purchased bootleg..awesome...i really felt liek i had a lot more to talk about, but i guess not...
